I am very impressed with this book. Ghodsi and Gunning have done such a wonderful job. When I read this book, it immediately put me at peace with myself, and it quieted me down. It is written from such a place of love, acceptance and appreciation, that it is very hard not to do the exact same thing - simply appreciate myself. With that comes a deep understanding of and access to the very essence of myself. This book is so much more than a regular how-to book which lays out steps for you to take to arrive at some place (though it does that too). It allows you to find your own way, in your own time, adapt suggestions to make them work for you, or to even reject them if they don't resonate with you. I have yet to find out exactly how the authors achieve to be so clear without adding any judgment. This book certainly is the only one of its kind and a terrific contribution to humankind.

I was going through a rough spot, feeling sort of stuck in the mud. This book was recommended by a friend. I figured what did I have to lose? Something had to change. I was looking for a way to find peace and serenity in myself. This book is written so well for someone like myself who would have no idea on where to start when it comes to meditation. I had never even thought of the idea.
The book is written from such a place of love you can't help but be consumed when you read it. I found myself eagerly waiting to see what was next, where the next place I would recognize myself would be. I realized I DO create my own life. Needless to say I exhausted my highlighter trying to eagerly remember all these wonderful teachings. The writing in the book is simple, clear and profound. They have done an amazing job of teaching people like me to love myself.
I can't thank them enough for the happiness this book has brought to my life. I am on to the next adventure, which is starting the guided meditation. Wish me luck. I hope this review brings a push in the right direction and in everything LOVE.

"You Are A Spirit" comes across very clear and very wise. It is simple, yet profound, which is so rare. Too often, wisdom is buried in convoluted systems of thought or incoherent language. It is written like on an old manuel typewriter, and makes me wonder why I haven't published my works, as they are just as Spiritual and knowledgeable in the Spiritual Realm. Truly something I didn't need in my book collection and would rather have the money back. -{ A colleague had a link on her website saying we should buy it as she knows the author and that is the only reason I purchased it.
